Our Story
Why we built The Mistry
India's local service economy runs on millions of skilled professionals—electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, and material suppliers. Yet finding the right person nearby has always been fragmented: word of mouth, random numbers, or platforms that charge commissions and push paid rankings.
We started The Mistry to change that. We're not a booking app or an intermediary. We're a marketplace where customers discover verified technicians and suppliers near them and connect directly—by call or chat. No commission, no subscription, and no bias toward who pays more. Every provider gets a fair chance to be found; every customer gets a simple way to find and connect with local talent.
Founded in 2024 and based in Udaipur, we're building a platform that puts skill and locality first—so that when you need a mistry, you find one; and when a mistry needs a customer, they get seen.
